Cake Sketches: Some Notes from Zilly

"Photoshop allows me the luxury of experimentation before I commit to the time-consuming task of cake making.  I can try out different sizes, proportions, colors, and embellishments quickly.  It is an excellent way for me to communicate my ideas to my clients, so that they can literally see what I am imagining from our design consultations.  Alterations are easily made to the Photoshop sketch to make your cake meet your expectations.  Keep in mind that the sketch is not meant to be a beautiful work of art, but more of a means to an end...with the end being a beautiful cake that has been well thought out and beautifully executed in every detail."

Currently, the cost for Photoshop sketches is $45 for an individual design, or $60 for a suite of 4 variations on a design.  This price includes one revision. 

 
For those who don't live in Western New York, Zillycakes offers a design service in which we first work with you long distance to create a cake design.  We then work long distance with your local baker of choice to get you the closest thing to a Zillycake as is possible!  This service can include custom stencils cut to exact measurements, as shown in most of the cakes below.
